Every book includes years of storage
Your videos are kept in full resolution. Every book includes a storage window for its moments — 5 years on Everyday, 10 on Flagship, and 30 on Heirloom when it launches. Nothing about that window is a countdown you have to watch: we'll remind you well before it ends.
You can extend anytime — or walk away with everything
Storage can be extended whenever you like, even years after the book arrives, for a small fee. You'll never be forced to let a moment go. And extending is a choice, not a ransom: you can download your original videos from the app at any time, in full resolution, to keep, copy, and back up anywhere you like.
If a storage window does end, nothing dramatic happens. Your printed book carries on exactly as it is — it's a finished object that needs nothing from us to sit on your shelf — and its pages stay scannable for any moments still stored.
If Nokoru ever went away
Startups should say this part out loud. If Nokoru ever stopped trading, we're committed to giving every customer at least 90 days' notice and a one-tap export of all their moments before anything is switched off. The moving layer is something the app adds on top of your book; the book itself never expires.
Why we don't say "forever"
You'll see "lifetime" and "forever" storage promised elsewhere. We think that word is doing marketing, not engineering: storage costs real money every year, and a promise nobody has priced is a promise nobody has planned to keep. Defined windows, honest pricing, free export, and a written wind-down commitment seemed like the more respectful deal.
